Walking Meditation in the park Wednesdays | 7:00-8:00 Cost: $10 | Limit: 20
This month we will practice mindfulness with walking meditation. Taking slow, deliberate steps we engage our bodies while heightening our senses. Each week we will meet at a local park for our meditation in motion, enjoying the beautiful weather and long summer days.
The walks will be slower than the usual walking pace; however, it is important for you to be comfortable and hydrated. We will walk on even trails suitable for all fitness levels but please wear sneakers. Please bring water and whatever you need to be in the elements for an hour--a broad-brimmed hat, bug spray, etc.
In the event of rain or extreme heat (over 85 degrees), we will hold meditation at the Centre. Please check the FB page the day of for updates or changes.
