Leading with curiosity applies to our inner self, emotions, physical body, perceptions, and connections with others as a way of living. By leading with curiosity, it improves our self-esteem and self- concept and regulates and balances our emotions, allowing us to get to the middle of our emotions as we discussed in the emotional ladders episode. Leading with curiosity also improves our physical health and dissolves our attachment to assumptions, expectations, and judgments. This allows space for a connection within and with others full of genuine acceptance.
Some affirmation decks I use:
Power Thoughts: 365 Days of Affirmation by Louise Hay. I have this in my office and my clients enjoy reading them when they come in for sessions.
Power thought cards: 64 card deck. I use these at home. I pull a card each morning and put it on my fridge for my daily reminder. I bought one for my daughter and she uses it the same way in her home.
Meditation cushion I use:
Sometimes I sit on this alone or sometimes I use it in addition to my backjack my sitting on it also or sometimes placing it under my knees.
Backjack I use:
I use these at home and at Serenity. These are what we use for our meditation groups and other workshops and gatherings. We also have the meditation cushions,bolsters, and blankets people use at times with the backjack.
